The Grand Central – Kwun Tong Town Centre Project (K7), the largest urban renewal project in Hong Kong, was recently awarded the prestigious Grand Award in the Planning Category at the HKIS Awards 2024. This honour recognizes the project team’s professionalism and achievements in embracing the Urban Renewal Authority’s “people-first, district-based, public participatory” approach, and incorporating sustainable development principles into this unprecedented redevelopment project.
